Property adjusters should prepare themselves to spend some time on roofs. Most accidents that happen to adjusters involve ladders. Having a dependable ladder is a must of the profession.
There are three main types of ladders for adjusters – folding, telescoping and extension.
- Telescoping ladders are the most compact and can be used on the majority of non complex residential claims. There are many variants of the telescoping ladder, but some are far ahead of others in functionality and dependability. Choose wisely !
- Folding ladders are optimal for 1 -2 story climbs when saving space in your vehicle is necessary. Many collapse down to 5 feet and can fit in almost any car.
- Extension ladders are the most stable, however they take up a large footprint on your vehicle and are cumbersome. If space is not a problem, this is your ladder.
