Most seasoned adjusters have a stigma about using a car to run inspections. An adjuster must have a big truck in order to carry a ladder and get around in unfavorable terrain, correct? Incorrect! The car pictured here carries a 26’ Little Giant, a 16’ & a 12’ Telestep extension ladder, a Goat and all other equipment needed to complete all inspections. This car has 250K adjusting miles on it and will go almost 600 HWY miles on a tank of gas. The pros to this configuration is less money spent on gas and oil changes (every 10K miles), speed (not that we speed, but if we needed to, we could and for cheap) and gives you a longer range, allowing you to do more claims. The cons are not as traversable in unforgiving terrain and insureds will always ask you if you need to borrow their ladder. This car is a VW Passat (non-diesel) and has completed over 3000 claims.
